She once suffered greatly from crippling social anxiety, depression, lack of self-love and low self-esteem that led her to make poor decisions throughout her life. She was inauthentic, reactive, fearful, impulsive and lost in the darkness of her own self-destructiveness. She didn't pull herself out, God did. The last decade of her life connected her with the energy of God, which is the Universe, the Divine, Love and our own Higher Self. In order to truly align with this energy, she first had to heal, uncover and remove everything that kept her from this self-realization. This means all of the limiting self-beliefs, the societal, cultural and religious conditioning that were instilled in her, the shadows and demons she carried, the inner child wounds and past traumas. After this decade long journey with many dark nights of the soul, she is ready to share her journey consolidated in the form of her artistic expression of poetry. Spiritual awakening and self-healing are not about getting to a place that is all rainbows, butterflies and optimism. It is about getting to a place of self-awareness, authenticity, intuitiveness and unshakable inner peace. This book is a great step in that direction, and a great one to come back to again and again for a reminder to help you get back in tune with your true Light.
