Pedro's Story

Pedro is a talking parrot who will stop at nothing to help the eight year old Mexican boy, Miguel, find the perfect Christmas gift for his homesick American friend Johnny.This story also introduces us to the mailman, a talking burro, Johnny's mom and Pedro's dad. Set in Mexico many years ago, we learn of piñatas, siestas, clay pots and piggy banks like Mike and Ike. Pedro tells the story of the joy of giving and receiving true gifts.
