Overview
Nancy and Noah have been pen-pals for a long time. They talk about all sorts of things in their letters. In 1939 when World War II starts, the two children experience the outbreak in different ways. Nancy is evacuated to Betws-y-Coed, North Wales, and as she adjusts to country life and living with strangers, she experiences some devastating news.
