Parker Messing wakes up in a hospital room with no memory of why he is there. His parents explain to him that he attempted suicide and he has been in a coma for the past three weeks. His parents sit down and talk with him. They inquire about what happened and what would have lead him to this decision. He does not feel comfortable talking with them. They are upset by this but understanding. They suggest he goes to a suicide support group that is just going to be starting. He is skeptical, unwilling to speak about his struggles with others but after realizing how few people there were in this group he agrees. This is a story about support and self healing.
