Scanning Your Body - Anytime that you are sitting or lying down, you should take a minute to focus your attention on one body part at a time, starting from the bottom of your feet. Pay attention to any type of physical sensation that you may be having, but do not react or place judgment upon them. Meditation - An exercise in which you direct positive thoughts and wishes first to yourself, then to your close family and friends, then to more distant acquaintances, and finally to all humanity. The body and mind will both experience an extreme amount of stability, clarity and peace. Being able to see things clearly and having pure and natural insight into the nature of things, including ourselves, comes naturally during this positive process. Movement - While walking or running, pay attention to the way that you are breathing, how your body is moving and what is going on in your surroundings.
