The Failure Of The Colombian Educational System : Factors That Have Affected The Education System

This book seeks to analyze the main problem that the educational system has: its structure, taking as reference the crisis of access to higher education, the training needs of Colombian youth and the relationship education - productive system. For this purpose, the book has been divided into three parts based on the references mentioned above. The first part is an analysis of the current structure against an optional structure, in the second part the contradiction between training needs and offer educational institutions the country has, in the third of an analysis of presents presents economic trends and their relation to education. All this in a current context that has been formed since 1530 with the contributions of the colonial model, the republican and the guidelines imposed by the OECD in the last twenty years.
