Christie is perhaps the world's most famous mystery writer. Her reputation rests on 66 detective novels and 15 short-story collections. She created memorable and dignified characters which any class of readers could relate to. This book is a collection of 6 brilliant stories by Christie, which will undoubtedly show you how the combination of murder and good writing made her one of the best writers in history. The Hunter's Lodge Case is a short story written by Agatha Christie, which was first published in 192 3. In 1924, the story appeared as part of the anthology Poirot Investigates. Belgian investigator Hcrcule Poirot, now London based, tasks his friend Arthur Hastings with solving a murder that is more like a riddle. It occurs at a hunting lodge. The owner has been murdered, and his nephew, Mr Roger Havering requests Poirot to investigate the murder ol his uncle at his hunting lodge in Derbyshire. Poirot is ill in bed and so Hastings travels there while Poirot solves the case by remote control.
