The Dream Sweeper

Everybody's afraid of something.The Dream Sweeper is a fantasy about dreams and nightmares, fear and hope. The chaos that ensues when a village is consumed by fear. It is suitable for ages 10 and up. Dreams and nightmares float to the ground each night where they are collected by Draumis, the Dream Sweeper. While sweeping up dreams, Draumis finds the hat of the Shadow Man, signaling the return of panic and unrest to the village of Weaverton. The Shadow Man preys on folks as they sleep, magnifying their fears as nightmares, until the village is paralyzed with anxiety. Draumis knows the Shadow Man has been exiled in the past, so he enlists the help of William Wise, the Word Man, to study the Weaverton tapestry and learn the true story of the fear consuming the village.. Can the Word Man figure out the past from the tapestry? Draumis is afraid of being alone. Stone, the orphan, is afraid of losing his independence. William Wise, the Word Man, is afraid of losing his words. As the village boards up in fear, it's up to Draumis and Stone, the only ones who can see dreams, to save Weaverton from itself. Will they be able to calm the village with words of assurance, or will they have to go into the nightmare pit to save Weaverton?
