Digital Eggs in the Sky

Kaitlyn, Megan, and Trisha are close friends who spend a lot of time together, goofing off when they should be doing their online high school homework. They grudgingly ride around in cars that they feel should fly like planes, pay for stuff with their fingertips and tongues, and tolerate unrewarding jobs that pay a paltry four or five hundred per hour. Then one day their entire world comes to a grinding halt, both for themselves and everyone around them, with little to no hope of recovery. There is the spooky neighbor who kneels on his lawn eating his grass. There is the group of people trying to kill each other over a slice of stale bread. And there is the threat of a dreadful spirit-monster named Moblitmobo. The three chums are faced with the chore of adapting to this miserable existence and hoping to restore their previously unsatisfactory lives which now look vastly preferable by comparison.
