Overview
I have been fortunate to live a very long life. My philosophy for longevity is simple--just keep going. Don't stop. When we are well and healthy, there just seems no end to the possibilities of our accomplishments and activities. There's so much work to be done; and where we are spared from accidents and sickness and setbacks, there's always somebody who needs a helping hand. We should take the time: share a cup of coffee or lunch, give someone who doesn't have a car a ride to the store or church, or even just stop by and share a bit of weather and news, or share a smile with someone while standing in line at the grocery store or bank. I think my longevity comes from always trying to see the other side of things. If something goes wrong, I just turn it around and find out what was good about it. No matter how bad something is, it could always be worse.
