The book is about a young girl who was looking for love from her family. Where she never been love from her parents and feel like a outcast in her family. Ann Marie was born on the January 7th 1976 on a little island of St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean. Where she attend the lodge Village Government school. At age 4 she move to live with her Grandmother. Ann Marie went back to live with her mother because she was not happy. She get pregnant at a young age, it' was a struggle for her. She make it keep her back. She immigrated to Toronto Canada in 1999 where. She work as a babysitting and went farther in studying hairdressing at Avola college of hairstylist and Esthetics . She lives in Toronto Canada with her family.
