Overview
A further work venturing to understand those persons, places, things and ideas that intersect with and influence my mental health. Over volumes I am gathering and growing a mental healing library to enable me to reflect, breathe, pause, pray, and advocate. Mental illness often lives alongside or under other conditions making detection very challenging. So many feelings and actions accompany the topic of mental illness. Many prefer to remain quieter as the topic is revealed in daily moments. Mental illness removes a layer of comfort and security from individuals, however their need to be viewed as human beings never leaves. I also want to say that there is a great need for psychiatric urgent care modalities that equip facilities to carry psychiatric medication adjustment capacities with psychiatrists that know patient's needs and concerns in the hours after 5pm. Everyday Is Therapy Day.
