Overview
After an emotional visit to the ancient burial site of Combe Barrow, unusual and unexpected items start to appear in Danny's deep coat pocket. A magic ten pound note, a bag of sherbet lemons, miniature roses, and a priceless Victorian book are just the beginning. Danny confides in his neighbour, ninety-year-old Mrs Edna Wilkins as she is aware of the 'magic of the ancients' and the power of the hawthorn tree. Who is Florence, the mystery girl on the cliffs? When Danny's life is in danger, will she save him? His head is spinning - was it a dream, or did they really fly over the waves together? When Danny and the gang of seven help 'accident prone' cousin Pete with his allotment, something incredible happens that will enhance lives and make dreams come true... A heart-warming and amusing tale suitable for anyone aged eight to eighty.
