Overview
Manuel Cruz Delgado grows up amidst drug trafficking and violence in Tizayuca Mexico in the 1970s. When his parents make the emotional decision to cross the border into the United States, it is a decision that alters Cruz's life forever. Despite the tragedy he experiences, the one thing that gives him hope and solace is the joy he feels when riding his bike. Part Breaking Away and part Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Cruz is the heartfelt story of an underdog. For anyone who has ever been bullied, denigrated, picked on or felt like you didn't belong, this is your story. It is a story of adversity, of growth, of love and of grit. But most importantly, it's a story about a bike.
