Overview
The Dorbors are a wealthy, loving family. They wake up one day to the disturbing news of civil war. Despite the uncertainty, they remain optimistic that a speedy resolution would arrive. After all, aren't Liberians a loving people? Their optimism, however, is soon tested when their mother who holds the family together, is injured. Moreover, she wanted them to leave the country. As her situation worsens, the father and son who struggled with guilt and sorrow. They know that their lives would forever change if they lose the 'rock', so they set out to get her the help she needs before time runs out. But they must first pass through government and rebel-controlled areas, somehow convince them that they are harmless. They are captured, beaten but know that they must escape or die. Now, the son must figure this all out whilst on the verge of losing both parents. Will he survive or be caught and lose his life as well as his family?
