Overview
Foxie is no ordinary child. She comes from Cha Chu Pani - a peaceful world where children grow in glowing bubbles, animals live in harmony, and everyone communicates through thoughts. As a hybrid Contact Child, her first solo mission is Earth. After a secret night landing in the small town of Tanglewood, Foxie is taken in by Aunty Em and Uncle Harry, who believe she is simply a lost girl with no memory. But Foxie remembers exactly who she is - where she comes from, who her family are, and why she is here.Living in a yellow farmhouse, going to Forest Primary School, and sharing her new home with Maddie - a foster girl who glares more than she smiles - is all part of the assignment.Foxie may look like an ordinary ten-year-old, but she is, after all, an alien. A rare hybrid of human, fox, and Cha Chu Panian DNA, sent five quadrillion kilometres from home on a contact mission.Wherever she goes, things begin to shift.A magical and inspiring story for readers aged 7-12.Written by Donna Goddard and her granddaughter, Aisha Bailey.
