The book was written by a three-time Cancer survivor for patients, caregivers, and family members to help them understand what the patient will undergo while getting treated for Cancer. His five year battle with Liver Cancer and then Bile Duct Cancer is a truly remarkable story. The book provides a roadmap so the patients and family members will have an idea about what to expect when the patient undergoes blood tests, exams, procedures, chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and transplantation. Mr. Brooks also provides insight and aid dealing with the emotional and spiritual struggles that occur when being treated for Cancer.
