Overview

Love or Life? Either way . . . you'll never make it out alive. Before Benito Benedetti was ever born, he was meant to bring salvation to the suffering-he was destined to be a priest. Even his name had an otherworldly purpose. Benito Octavio Benedetti-B.O.B.-Father Ben. But every priest's faith must first be tested. Some ... more than others. Young Benito survived the Water, endured the Earth, and conquered the Wind. The boy proved that his faith could not be killed. Now ... he has only one test left. At Saint Samuels Seminary Academy, the Clergy's disciples are taught to hone their minds, harden their bodies, and steel their souls into razor sharp instruments of faith. But a secret pact, etched in the forgotten flesh of angels, has taken root at the very top of Saint Samuels. And the daily beatings are only the beginning. Looking back on all of it, Father Benito Benedetti knew it had to turn out this way-the old boozing priest he had become wrote the book that would bring the world to his belief. Now, staring down at a dead angel on the floor of his church, he knows that today is the beginning of the end. Father Ben has but one celestial day to bring this special angel back to Life ... or all the eternities to come will suffer God's wrath.
