Overview
It was dark, but there was no human eye there to see the darkness. Dark, empty, silent, and lifeless. Then, but it takes too long to say it - Light, Life exploded into the dark emptiness. Every atom, molecule and particle danced with joy. The universe had turned inside out. The beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega, had paused and resumed. The End had begun. The Beginning was on its way! ...Gabriella Messenger had always loved and been fascinated by Light. As a child she wanted to play with it. Through every season of the year it captured her attention and her curiosity. She wondered what it was. How and why it affected everything. After finishing a course of education and a choice of career that centered on the science of Light, she was still wondering. But not for long.
