Overview

In this trilling continuation of Flesh of the Blood, new allegiances are formed and old ones are broken as King Dia, now a prisoner and his beloved city of Brigin'i is on the verge of destruction, as General Kaligor's army of orcs and other dark creatures march on for the citadel of Bru Edin, nearly overwhelming Kalion is band of allies as they too race for Bru Edin in search of Princess Shermee. However, all is not well with the team, suffering losses while being dogged by orcs and forced to run for their lives, causes strife among the group, leading to secrecy, distrust and accusations of betrayal. As Princess Shermee's own journey continues using her wits and beauty, she discovers that her kidnappers hold a secret as she hatches a plan of escape discovering mystical forces that come out of the dark along the way. As Methnorick's forces continue to gain ground, leaving terror, chaos and death in their wake he unleashes a dark terror against the city of Blath 'Na as he soon learns that there are limits to what he can achieve despite his own formidable powers as the world of Marn begins to burn everywhere he casts his eyes.
