Overview
Mortuary magnate and philanthropist Everett Greason is Stanton's most successful businessman and beloved son. But behind the carefully polished and manicured world of the Werner-Greason Funeral Home, lies a dark secret, one that Greason and his high-powered associates will stop at nothing to protect. Now, as the Governor and the people of Stanton gather to honor Greason and his life's work, a hunched and feeble figure from the past, one long forgotten, emerges from the shadows, intent on exposing Greason's explosive secret, and on taking her revenge. Soon the night is shattered by gunfire and Ben Tuttle, an unwitting stranger, and Kate Greason, Everett's own granddaughter, find themselves holding the key to the past. Now they must race against time to uncover the awful truth before they are discovered.
