Overview
A Taino man named Amanex is born on the island of Ayiti in the region of Jaragua. In 1492, the young Amanex witnesses the arrival of Christopher Columbus and the Spaniards and observes in horror the Spaniard's brutality and greed for gold. Amanex seeks to avenge the murder of his parents and brother at the hands of a brutal Spaniard and the safety of his wife and children as he joins a native and African revolt against the Spanish conquistadors. Amanex must use his intelligence and will to survive as the world he once had known is simply a memory. Civilizations clash as Amanex fights for the survival of his people and the safety of his family.
