What God has joined together, let no man separate is one of the most misquoted scriptures in the Bible. Just because you marry someone; that doesn't necessarily mean that God joined you together. Some people joined together out of lust, for financial gain, or they just wanted to feel as if they belonged to someone. Therefore, they went to a preacher and made their union legal. Most people spend months or an entire year planning for a wedding. However, they don't spend one day fasting, praying and seeking God to find out if the marriage is in his plan. So, how can God join something together that he was never a part of? Most people don't ask God to come into their marriage until after trouble comes. So you wanna get married? Pray before you say, "I do."
