Overview
Protestants and Catholics are not as separated theologically as you may think. What are the theological and moral bridges upon which Catholics and evangelicals can travel? In Roman Catholics and Evangelicals, Norman L. Geisler and Ralph E. MacKenzie address that question in three parts: areas of doctrinal agreement, areas of doctrinal difference, and areas of practical cooperation. They explore● common spiritual roots and the common core of doctrinal belief that permeates both systems● significant differences on infallibility, Mariology, purgatory, the role of works in salvations, the Apocrypha, and more● interesting relationships and alliances that have developed between Catholics and Protestants ● the possibility of building bridges and cooperating on common moral, social, and education effortsThis book is an excellent reference tool and textbook.
