Overview
Volume XXVIII in Open Court's critically acclaimed Library of Living Philosophers series examines the work of Persian Sufist Seyyed Hossein Nasr, considered to be the most important living Muslim philosopher. As in the other volumes in this series, the subject discusses his life and philosophical development in an intellectual autobiography. This is followed by 33 critical essays by distinguished scholars; Nasr replies to each of these essays.
