Overview
This book will help teach a child the meaning of color by involving the child in coloring pictures that are described in short verses, or rhymes. Parents, other family members, and friends can help instill imagination by pointing to various objects in the drawings and have the child suggest a color. Animals, trees, flowers, and birds will also become part of their "familiar" experience. Burdys D. Page has written stories for children all her life. She specializes in poems and stories about animals because she feels this gets the attention of all age groups.
