This book examines each of the twelve steps from a biblical perspective to give the reader an improved understanding of not only themselves; but also much needed insight into who the "higher power" actually is. Discover the scriptural background to the 12 step programs used in Alcoholics Anonymous and similar programs such as the New Wine Fellowship and Overcomers. This book has the potential of helping countless numbers of people who still struggle. Recovery is almost a certainty for anyone who will honestly follow the steps outlined in this book. The author is so convinced that he says: "I guarantee that anyone who wants to recover from alcoholism or drug addiction will recover if they honestly work the 12 steps outlined in Beyond the Higher Power."
