We can agree that discipline is a necessary ingredient of many worthwhile endeavors, but is it worth celebrating? This book demonstrates that in the Western Mystery Tradition, the answer is a resounding YES! Discipline sets boundaries and establishes limitations in order to create a sacred space where the unfoldment of our spiritual nature can take place. Twelve traditional spiritual disciplines are discussed. These are practices of the Hermetic science of Theurgy. Correspondences for these disciplines are established that link them to the Hermetic sciences of Astrology and Alchemy. The intent is to strengthen the bonds between these three Hermetic sciences and increase the effectiveness of the Hermetic Qabalah upon which depends much of the philosophy and practices of the Western mysteries. Celebration itself can be a discipline when performed with conscious intent and gratitude
