Overview
Is your traditional public school not a good option for you or for your student? They are certainly not for everyone. What happens for many people, though, is that they do an Internet search and discover that online high schools can be rather expensive. The schools that show up on page 1 of Google rankings are often all for-profit endeavors and the sticker price can be rather significant. There are, however, other options. Would you be surprised to know that there are hundreds of online high schools that are free of charge? School districts, state departments of education, and charter schools have all created online programs. Because they are public entities, they are 100% free. Free Online High Schools provides you with information on specific schools, but also provides selection information and answers to frequently asked questions. In addition, it provides information on accreditation and on fake online high schools. Choosing an online high school can still be an option for you. It's never too late to make the change!
