Retired Major General John Slaughter disappears from his Humboldt County, California ranch. Eventually his body is discovered floating in the Van Duzen River in an apparent accidental drowning. The heir to the multi-million dollar Slaughter estate, John's great-nephew Chief Master Sergeant Victor McCoy, had not seen his uncle in over twenty years and has little business experience. Vic is reluctant to forgo his Air Force career to take control of his inheritance until two of the General's closest friends Bart LaRocca and billionaire real estate developer David Tanner agree to mentor him. Preemptively, they launch two lethal attacks intended on obliterating all threats to their operations.
