Notice: This is an early-release edition The story of creation, as told in Genesis, has caused more controversy over the past century than any other book of the Bible. This discussion oriented study guide leads the participants past this controversy and into the foundational accounts of the Christian faith. The small group is guided through the Biblical text, leading them to an understanding of what Moses' message meant to the recently freed Israelites that he led out of Egypt as well as to an understanding of what the message means to us today. Insightful questions reveal the interconnection between Genesis and later parts of the Bible and challenge the students to see how the struggles of our forefathers continue to play out in our own lives. The guide serves both mature Christians and those new to the faith with questions that follow Genesis, chronologically, allowing adjustment to the pace of study, depending on the level of discussion generated.
