Overview
A chance meeting of two Americans has very dangerous consequences for a lonely widower visiting Italy. After wealthy Robert Blake marries Raine Shaw, the beautiful woman he met in Florence, he soon learns 'til death due us part' has a special meaning for his new bride and begins taking steps to stay alive.Although the novel opens in Florence, Italy, most of the action takes place in Pittsburgh, PA where the murderous plot for Robert Blake's estate originated. However, between Raine's elaborate plans for her husband's demise (fueled by a greedy lover) and the effort to stop her by Elias Juniper, a spook and Robert'old college roommate, A Game of Wits plays out to an unexpected end.
