Overview

Do you desire to have a happy and healthy marriage? If you are thinking about getting married, are already married, or even thinking about divorce, this book is a must read! The Simplified and Sanctified Marriage is a simple alternative to the complex and overwhelming books about marriage. It gets straight to the core of how to have a healthy marriage. It is based on truth from the Bible and interwoven with Dr. Grady's experiences as a husband, psychologist, and pastoral counselor. In this book, Dr. Grady writes that the secret of a healthy marriage is loving one's spouse as an act of worship to God. Unfortunately, we have been inundated with Hollywood's fairy tales about what marriage truly is. This often leaves spouses ill equipped and uninformed about the true journey of marriage. Dr. Grady gives the simple, honest, and pragmatic depiction of how to have a healthy marriage. Each chapter ends with specific exhortations, a page for journaling, biblical passages for reflection, and a prayer which is germane to the chapter.
