Overview
Poetic meditations on Jesus Christ, the one T.S. Eliot called "the Stranger" in his "Choruses From The Rocks." This book is Ben Palpant's attempt to answer the Strangers troubling questions, especially the Stranger's most haunting question, "Where has God gone?" Poetry acts as an insurgency against any part of existence that has calcified. It's a revolution, like springtime, that beings first in the author's own heart. It's the insurrection of a. blind man rising to navigate the dark. These poems are one man's attempt to rise and meet the Stranger.
