Overview
Bird Brain plays on the literal and figurative meaning of the phrase "bird brain", featuring poems that celebrate and observe the birds we see around us, but also slyly illustrating the similarities between the lives and obsessions of birds and humans. Everyday life, private moments, the mundane, all combine in this collection that at its heart, conveys the joys of solitude and those found in nature, whether it's found in the city or the country.
