Overview
David Bishop (a.k.a. The Runners Chaplain) has run more than 30,000 miles over the past 35 years. He has also run in some 50 countries so that while "Running Around the World," he was really running around the world! His stories vary from teaching lessons to his daughters in "Life 101" to getting lost or falling down in some exotic locations. He claims that the best thing about all those miles, all those places and all those experiences is what he has learned about writing, about himself and his relationship with God. You will be challenged to recall running memories and your own lessons learned on the roads. If you're not a runner, you will enjoy the stories and find that the life lessons are the same for everyone! David is the father of two grown daughters, both married with families, that you'll get to know in these pages. He and his wife, Carolyn, live in Atlanta, Georgia. Follow him on Twitter @RunnersChaplain and on Facebook at Runners Chaplain. New York Times Best-selling author LtCol Oliver North had this to say about "Running Around the World: " Just finished David Bishop's great new book, "Running Around the World." Whether you are a person who believes in running the distance or a believer who wants to finish the race and keep the faith - this is a great read!it's fun, funny and perfect for anyone who has spent their life running, and sometimes running for their life, as I have! Best of all, you don't have to be a U.S. Marine "Under Fire" to love the stories. Oliver North LTCOL U.S. Marines Author of "Under Fire"
