Overview
Mary is a marvelous young woman who lost her hearing as a toddler. She was adopted from foster care at age six, and with her new family she both learned sign language and received cochlear implants. Now she has greater access in both Deaf and hearing worlds, and loves reading, music, and making art. She wants to be a teacher or a scientist someday.
