Overview
"God will work when we pray. One of the major responsibilities of the Church is to pray on behalf of Israel and Jerusalem. "Prayer is not just a formality or a ritual, but it is something essential to fulfilling God's purposes. "It will take the combined, insistent, and persistent prayer of God's people to call forth God's intervention on behalf of Israel and Jerusalem. "As we pray we are promoting our own interests for world peace because God's ultimate government will be established in Jerusalem! Finally, as we obey God by being concerned for Jerusalem, we are promoting our own prosperity (Psalm 122:6)." Derek Prince, 1968
