Overview
"As I walk the hills where I live, rising amid the rustling leaves of a burgeoning dawn, I hear the refrain of the Song the Lamb-Jesus calling again to his beloved." -Wayne Jacobsen in It's Time What if we're currently living within a decade of Jesus's return? Followers of Jesus have awaited that day since Jesus ascended into the clouds forty days after his Resurrection. Having offered his salvation, he promised to return to redeem the Creation itself. Whether he comes in the next 10 years or 150 years, there will be a generation of Christ followers tasked with bearing witness to his light through the perilous times that precede his coming. They will needa love stronger than their own self-interest.a light greater than the lies of darkness.a resilient faith that is only strengthened in adverse circumstances, andundeniable hope in a future of God's choosing rather than the pursuit of individual plans. And if that will serve us well in those days, wouldn't it be worth living that way today?
