Overview

This volume brings together a comprehensive documentation of feminist research while locating gender from the perspective of both practice and praxis frameworks. It maps out the emerging social issues in India, such as women's embodied and multiple realities, their alienation resulting from the interplay of technology and capitalism, the gendered nature of smart urban spaces, access to clean energy technologies, violence and performativity, the new conceptualisation of fatherhood, women in leadership and intimate partner violence.Firmly grounded in contemporary feminist research, the book will be an indispensable resource for students, teachers and researcher scholars of feminist studies, anthropology, social work, sociology and women's and gender studies. It will also be of interest to gender practitioners and researchers.
