Overview
Songscape by Janet Stimson [songs] and Deborah Stimson-Snow [score and choral parts] is a collection of miscellaneous art songs written by the same authors over a span of 30 years. The poetic ideas are lyrical descriptions of love and nature, but the unifying factor for all the songs is their beautiful melodies. The vocal style is classical. The piano accompaniment is in the style of classical English art song composers such as Roger Quilter and Ralph Vaughn Williams, [with one exception, My Dog & Me.] The contents includes Endless Love, Evergreen, Forever, Hold On, The Rose, The 23rd Psalm, The Wind & His Bride, One World, and Music Makes the Moments Fly. For medium-range male and female voices.
