This book is an introduction to body language that takes a different approach than most books on the market. It will give you the tools to understand the nonverbal signals of your fellow human beings.In the first part you will learn the basic characteristics of nonverbal communication. You will then apply this knowledge in the second part of the book, in which you will use the example of lying to further decipher the phenomenon of body language and apply your new ability in everyday life.To make reading more enjoyable, this introduction provides anecdotes and also examples of e. g. Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson and Donald Trump.The author studied psychology at the University of Cologne and wrote his thesis about telling lies in body language. After his work as an expert at the Superior Assessment Center for Testing Drivers NRW, he designed and delivered "Telling-Lies-Seminars" and workshops for judges, lawyers, police officers and psychologists in the USA.
