A Moment With God: Jesus Saved Me And Then Hell Broke Loose

A Moment with God' is an inspirational and motivational treatise. The title was born out of my exigent experience in the world of Salvation. I gave my life to the Lord, yet I never knew what it meant to be born again. I was like in a completely alien world, where I had never been before. Consequently, I learned that new believers struggle tremendously in the seemingly unknown world of Salvation, so much so that, many end up despairing. A Moment with God offers very fundamental information and motivation to new believers. The book gives some kind of reconnaissance information regarding the new world of Salvation, what to expect, and more so the immense role of Jesus Christ as the Savior of the whole World. The book profoundly borrows from my personal experiences, but tactically compounds these narratives with the Word of God and my spiritual knowledge. I not only wish that this book be a source of information and encouragement to new believers, but also parents, nonbelievers, and anyone who wants to know Jesus Christ more. I encourage parents to read the book because I have explored the issue of domestic violence in homes and how the vice has a long-term negative implication on children. The effects usually lead to drug abuse, depression, and even suicide. I grew up in a home where domestic violence was a norm. My foster father was so violent that he could force me to sleep naked inside cold water at night; and yet, I was only 8 years old then. The torture that my mommy and I suffered plunged me to drug abuse and addiction, as well as many other ills such as visiting diviners. In the book, I have explored other practices such as divination and sorcery that parents engage in without taking into account the strongholds they are predisposing their children and family into. A Moment with God is a journey of Salvation and growth in the Lord, which could encourage anyone. The Lord saved me and gave me an opportunity to have a relationship with Him, even when I was so wicked. In fact, the Lord used a dream to rescue me from substance addiction. I found myself standing next to the endless pit in hell. After this dream, details of which I have given in part two of the book, addiction evaporated like thin air; and today I feel so much indebted to the Lord for saving me and giving me an opportunity to know Him. My experiences with the Lord would also affirm the existence of the spiritual world, for those who doubt. The book also speaks about dreams and tongues, subjects that many Christians grapple with. The book would truly encourage your spiritual growth in the Lord and more so help you to navigate in the world of Salvation.
