Overview
As the city of Greenstone's town crier, Vika possesses a powerful voice - especially for a young woman whom most view as a fragile waif. She brings the day's news to every quarter of the city, even the most lawless, undesirable neighborhoods. One evening, at the end of her rounds, she is saved from a gang of thugs by a witch who endows her with a bizarre enhancement: provided that she yells commands at the same volume as she delivers the news, people are compelled to obey them. Vika has been a victim all of her life. Will her strange new ability improve her lot? Is it a blessing... or a terrible curse? With a vicious serial killer taking note of her gift, a charming but enigmatic demon determined to recruit her for his own purposes, and a vampire queen thirsting for the very source of her powers, Vika is about to be tested.A dark fantasy for MATURE AUDIENCES.
