What happens when a brother merges his "not quite legal" business with his sister's highly successful dance studio. Nick was devastated when his prima donna sister's career ended after a car accident. Still in her 20's Alexa had been destined for stardom. Nick saw the pain his sister was suffering and not only encouraged her but helped fund the opening a state of the art dance studio. The studio unlike any other in the Indianapolis metropolitan area thrived in the market and students flocked to be part of Alexa's studio. At the same time Nick had an extremely profitable personal escort business which he started almost by fluke as a college student. He only dealt with wealthy male customers of the high end conference and hotel centers. Before long he was making thousands of dollars a week and realized he needed some place to launder the money. Successful dance studios also generate huge sums of money and it was relatively easy for the smart financial manipulator to bury the money in his sister's business. Alexa allowed her brother to be responsible for the finances and his plan worked until an Indianapolis city cop moonlighting at an upscale hotel became curious about the beautiful women leaving the hotel in the early morning hours.Nick never considered himself a criminal or a bad person. Her provided a service and his employees were highly compensated. Everything came crashing down when the cop, his sister and one of his working girls came in contact with each other. For Nick his value system was challenged. For Alexa her trust in her brother was shaken. For Patrolman John Gordon his newly found concern for Alexa put him at odds with the legal system he believed in. and one of Nick's escorts opened everyone's eyes to the reality that there is no such thing as a victimless crime. To make matters worse, the head of organized crime in Indy learned about Nick's business and was committed to ending his involvement permanently. John was questioning when and how he should involve the police. At the same time Nick was wrestling with the whole question of whether his business was really victimless. Finally, Alexa was trying to protect her brother while simultaneously trying to keep her new love from being in the cross hairs of the law. You'll just have to read this book to see how things end.
