However, Prudence Parker is a witch with a desire to become more - a police detective. Her first goal is to catch her mother's killer who cannot be located by magic. The opportunity to live her dream comes to fruition when a desperate Abysmal, KY Police Department wants a witch to join their police force to help fight a drug issue. Abysmal is under the siege of the highly addictive drug, Fire and Brimstone (F & B) allegedly being distributed by the Dark Covenant Cartel controlled by rogue witches. Shortly after Prudence graduates from the police academy with honors, she is partnered with U.S. Grant. As the conspiracy unfolds, it's worse than expected as the whole town and world are now in danger. Will Prudence become a detective and bring her mother's killer to justice? Will Fire and Brimstone addict the world? Will the Dark Covenant rule the world?Forget what you know about witches. This book throws the conventional stereotype out the window.
