Overview
Marquis De Sade's 120 Days Of Sodom: Or The School For Libertinage And The Sex Life Of The French Age Of Debauchery is a book written by Iwan Bloch. It is a translation of the infamous novel, Les 120 Journes de Sodome ou l'cole du libertinage, written by the Marquis de Sade in 1785. The book is a graphic and disturbing account of the sexual exploits of four wealthy Frenchmen who imprison a group of young men and women in a secluded castle for four months, subjecting them to increasingly perverse and sadistic acts. The novel explores themes of power, corruption, and the limits of human depravity, and has been widely criticized for its explicit content and disturbing subject matter. Despite its controversial nature, the book has been influential in the development of modern erotic literature and continues to be studied and debated by scholars and readers alike. This is a new release of the original 1934 edition. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
