Overview
This publication comprises an academic essay in landscape archaeology supplemented by a book review. The book review is from the field of the History of Medicine. This publication therefore facilitates my nascent interest in landscape archaeology as well as my long-term interest in the History of Medicine. Whilst the respective fields may initially appear unconnected, they both emerge from the overarching historiographical trend of social historical study.
