The Sweetgrass Chronicles: A Walk Across America, is an illustrated journal by Fisher Monahan following his journey by foot from British Columbia to California as a young person freshly graduated from high-school, walking his path with an artist's perspective. Having deferred his university acceptance due to the implications of a pandemic on student life, Fisher sought to see the west coast from the perspective of a pedestrian, going places otherwise unreachable on a bike or in a car, drawing and writing in his trusty notebook as a means of recording each moment.
