Overview
Mages are weapons of war. Those who don't fight craft new warriors. Edmath grows plants and shapes them, creating trees that talk. His skills are in high command. He and his fellow mages serve the empire, but every time they fight, they risk taking life and losing their powers. Nevertheless, the imperial mages put their lives and talents into the struggle preceding the coming war. Warrior Mage is a collection of three novellas, each following another of Edmath's missions before the great war begins. Fans of Brandon Sanderson and manga like Full Metal Alchemist will enjoy these tales.
